They already do NDTMS and TOPS forms, the additional data is very minimal. The software application prepares all the TOPS / NDTMS submissions for the NTA and some teams may use this instead of an existing database. In other teams there may be need for some duplicate data entry in the short term.

On the flip side, the system will save care managers time by helping them manage their placement data. It is planned to develop the platform further to offer a communication channel between care managers and providers; for example, progress reports might be (securely) channelled through the system rather than via (insecure) email. These features are not however confirmed.
