Placement Manager Software |
The software needed to run the outcomes project is well into development. The data to keep beyond NDTMS / TOPS has been drafted out, but not finalised. This will be a key point of interest through the consultation. We intend to record care-manager satisfaction data, though need to discuss this with care managers in some detail. Client satisfaction presents some additional technical hurdles and is unlikely to be included in the pilot scheme. The following images show screens from the current / development version of the software. First up are client detail screens. The first image covers the basic demographic information - the photo is entirely optional. Scroll down for more images and comments.
Notice above that you are warned on the 'front page' of the client record that the NDTMS record is not valid and will not be accepted by the NTA. If you skip to the next page you will see why; the client data is not within the range accepted by the NTA. The modality data is also not correctly dated. The second and third pictures show the NDTMS and TOPS screens. Validation rules provided by the NTA are run against the data as you enter information into the screen, so there is instant feedback whether this will be accepted by the NTA (and also be solid data for the outcomes project). We are still working on the Placement and other screens - these will be shaped by the consultation and work taking place through June / July 2008.
In the final example screen, you can see the TOPS data entry form. This is not quite complete. The screens describing the placements, care manager satisfaction and aftercare (and possibly others) are not yet complete.
Below is the main list of clients in the 'placement manager' - a few sample client details are shown.. The buttons add / edit and delete client records. Different workers can 'filter' their own client lists and NDTMS returns exported.
